Two consecutive earthquakes jolt Baitadi

KATHMANDU: Two earthquakes took place within a span of a minute in Baitadi last evening.

An earthquake of 3.2 and 3.5 magnitudes took place at 6:25 pm and at 6:26 pm respectively.

The epicenter of both tremors was near Shikharpur in Baitadi, said technical assistant at the Earthquake Measurement Center Surkhet, Tirtharaj Dahal.

Lately, earthquakes have been occurring frequently in various districts of the Sudurpaschim Province.
