Two die in road accidents



DHARAN: Two persons died in road accidents in Sunsari.

Dhina Limbu, 19, from Dharan-15 died after being seriously injured in a city-safari accident that occurred at Purano Bazaar of Dharan-3, according to the police.

The Area Police Office, Dharan informed that the city-safari bearing the number plate Province 1-02-003 Ha 2655 got uncontrolled while being driven.

Limbu who was seriously injured in the accident died at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences during treatment.

Police took under control driver Gyan Bahadur Thapa from Dharan-11.

Similarly, Bir Bahadur Thapa (Himal), 40, drowned in the canal of Sunsari-Morang Irrigation Project at RD of Barahachhetra-7.

The District Police Office, Sunsari, informed that Thapa had gone missing from Battis Bridge.

After getting the information about his disappearance, the police, armed police, municipal police and locals lunched search for him.

But he was found dead after two hours of search. The dead body was found near Sherchowk, a kilometer away from the spot he went missing.

Police informed that investigation into the incident was underway.
