Two people die in separate road accidents in Sunsari

SUNSARI: Two people died in two separate accidents in Sunsari district.

One person died, and three others sustained injuries in an accident in Dharan last night.

Police said that the deceased is 34-year-old Padam Bahadur Limbu from Kerabari Rural Municipality-5 in Morang.

Jenisha Magar (23), Anjana Magar (45), and Ravina Magar (24), all from the same locality, were injured in the incident.

The police said that the tempo (Ko 2 Ha 5565) they were traveling in lost control, leading to the accident.

Although the four injured individuals were taken to BP Koirala Health Institute in Dharan for treatment, Limbu succumbed to his injuries during the medical care.

The tempo driver fled the scene, police said.

Similarly, Balkumar Khatiwada, a 60-year-old resident of Inruwa-3, Sunsari, passed away on Wednesday after sustaining severe injuries in a motorcycle accident.

The motorcycle, bearing registration number Ba 27 Pa 8701, hit him.

Police said that Khatiwada died while receiving treatment at Nobel Hospital in Biratnagar.
