Nepal sees 99 coronavirus cases in 24 hours, active cases 377



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded 99 new cases of coronavirus and one COVID related death in the past 24 hours as of Sunday.

Out of the confirmed cases, 50 were tested through the RT-PCR method and  49 through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 1,604 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of them, 364 swabs were tested through the RT-PCR method and 1,240 through the Antigen method.

There are 377 active cases in Nepal as 50 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,022 to date.
