Free health camp benefits people from five districts

DAILEKH: A free health camp organized in Dailekh has benefited people from five districts including Dailkeh, Kalikot, Jajarkot and Achham.

Seventy-five needy people in the five districts were provided with health check-up services.

Similarly, free medical services were provided to 1231 people suffering from orthopedic-related problems.

The orthopedic health camp launched targeting those communities for whom the service seems economically unaffordable. An 18-member specialist squad from the Nepal Orthopedic Hospital rendered the services.

A medical specialist from abroad was also a team member.

According to Narayan Municipality mayor Loman Sharma, the service was meant for those who was unable to visit Kathmandu or outside the district to seek the service due to an economic issue.

Some cases have been referred to Kathmandu for surgery free of cost, it is said.
