31 injured in Parsa bus accident

PARSA: At least 31 passengers have sustained injuries in a road mishap that occurred in Parsa Bazaar along the East-West Highway.

A bus with the registration number plate (Bagmati Province 03-001 Kha 2561) en route to Kathmandu from Kalaiya met with an accident last night after losing its control.

The bus accident took place in Khairahani municipality-8, Parsa bazaar, the Area Police Office, Khairahani said.

The bus was overturned on the roadside after it went uncontrolled. All those injured are undergoing treatment at Bharatpur -based Old Medical College, police said.

One among the injured was critical and 14 were with minor injuries, police added. Other 16 are in normal condition, the police stated.
