Nepal sees 64 coronavirus cases in 24 hours, active cases 377



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded 64 new cases of coronavirus and one COVID related death in the past 24 hours as of Saturday.

Out of the confirmed cases, 21 were tested through the RT-PCR method and  43 through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 956 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of them, 151 swabs were tested through the RT-PCR method and 805 through the Antigen method.

There are 377 active cases in Nepal as 45 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,022 to date.
