Identify national capacity to materialize ‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali’ drive : President Bhandari



KAVREPALANCHOWK: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has remarked that all should be able to identify and use national capacity in the campaign of building a ‘Prosperous Nepal and Happy Nepali’.

President Bhandari said it while inaugurating a religious function at Banepa Municipality-4 in Kavrepalanchowk today. She opined, “We have to ensure speedy development, creating employments in the country and achieve high economic growth to fulfill national goal of ‘Prosperous Nepal: Happy Nepali’. Identifying and utilizing national capacity is the main basis for the same.”

President Bhandari expressed the view that development of tourism sector is essential for building strong national economy that helps reduce economic dependency. She shared that agriculture, forest and hydropower could be taken as the backbone of the economic development.

The President stressed the need for proper balance between human and nature. Environment-friendly development and climate change adaptation are other important task, she argued.

Congratulating for the construction of a park in order to promote religious tourism and developing Ugrachandi Nala area as a spiritual center, President Bhandari shared Nepal could be renowned in the international arena in many ways.

Similarly, lawmaker Gokul Baskota said the Buddha Circuit from Tanchowk to Mahabharat via Dhulikhel and Temal was in plan under the national trekking route.
