KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has reported a partial effect of westerly winds in Nepal, bringing changes in the weather pattern.
While the rest of the hilly areas will experience clear skies, parts of the Terai region are likely to face foggy conditions.
This afternoon, the weather is expected to remain clear in the hilly regions, but the Terai may continue to experience pockets of fog.
The Division has anticipated a chance of light rain in specific locations within the Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
In addition to the rain forecast, there is a possibility of light snowfall in certain high hilly and Himalayan areas across the Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, according to the Division.
As night falls, the likelihood of snowfall will increase in the high hills and Himalayan regions.
With temperatures decreasing nationwide, the Division has urged people to take necessary precautions to mitigate potential risks associated with the changing weather conditions.
