Attack on Koshi Province Chief Minister as group targets vehicle



KATHMANDU: A group of individuals attacked Koshi Province Chief Minister Kedar Karki on Tuesday.

The assault took place in Damak Municipality-5 while CM Karki was en route to attend an event in Jhapa.

The group hurled stones at CM Karki’s vehicle, resulting in broken windows. Fortunately, the police reported that no injuries were sustained by the Chief Minister.

The assailants displayed black flags towards CM Karki, and authorities are currently working to locate and apprehend the individuals involved in the attack.
