Nepal sees 121 coronavirus cases in 24 hours, active cases 445

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded 121 new cases of coronavirus and one COVID related death in the past 24 hours as of Wednesday.

Out of the confirmed cases, 58 were tested through the RT-PCR method and  63 through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 2,377 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of them, 620 swabs were tested through the RT-PCR method and 1,757 through the Antigen method.

There are 445 active cases in Nepal as 81 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

There was one coronavirus-related death recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,022 to date.
