Six die in Baitadi jeep mishap



BAITADI: Six passengers died in a jeep accident in Baitadi.

A jeep fell off the road at Jaulek-8 in the district, Chairman of Patan Municipality-8 Harish Bista said.

The deceased have been identified as Mane Bohara, Nare Bohara, Gorakh Bohara, Man Bahadur Dhami, Birkha Dhami, and Bire Dham, of Kedarsyun Rural Municipality-5, Bajhang, according to police.

The ill-fated jeep — Se 1 Ja 764 — heading to Bagthala of Bajhang from Jhulalghat of Baitadi, met with the accident at 11 pm last night, according to the police.

All deceased belong to the same village, Bista said.

Four passengers saved their lives by jumping off the jeep.
