Rekha Thapa’s “Upahar” to be released on February next year

KATHMANDU: The anticipated release of actress Rekha Thapa’s production, “Upahar,” has received a new release date.

The film was initially scheduled to hit screens on February 9, 2024.

Originally slated for a New Year release, the film’s debut was postponed due to the release of Ram Babu Gurung’s film, “Degree Maila: MA Third Class.”

Now, “Upahar” is poised for a head-to-head clash with the movie “Hattichhap,” presented by Kiran Nepali, which has already unveiled its poster and announced its screening date.

Directed by Gyanendra Deuja, “Upahar” promises to deliver a compelling narrative centered around three female characters.

Leading the cast are Rekha Thapa, Pooja Sharma, and Besheena Hamal, and they will be joined by Mukun Bhushal, Tej Giri, and Samarpan Thapa.
