KATHMANDU: A goon skirting gangster Milan Gurung alias Chakre Milan in Nepalgunj with ‘AK 47’ rifle has been arrested on Tuesday.
Ganesh Bahadur Bogati of Baijnath Rural Municipality, Nauvasta, an associate of Milan, was arrested for carrying a sensitive weapon in public.
According to SP Santosh Singh Rathore, Chief of the District Police Office, Banke, the deadly weapon carried by Bogati has also been recovered.
Police were shocked to see that Bogati had managed to obtain a license from District Administration Office, Banke.
The police are investigating the purpose for which he took the weapon.
A video of Bogti skirting gangster Gurung with a weapon when he was seen at Siddharth Hotel in Nepalgunj was released through TikTok.
Notorious goon Chakre has joined the CPN-UML.
According to sources, he reached Nepalgunj to participate in the convention of the UML-affiliated youth federation.
