PM Dahal, Deuba, and Oli discussing parliament obstruction removal

KATHMANDU: Top leaders of major political parties including Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ are holding discussions for the removal of the obstruction in the parliament.

The meeting of the House of Representatives has been called for 3 pm.

However, Prime Minister Dahal, former Prime Minister, and Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba, and former Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli are holding discussions to end the deadlock in the parliament.

A discussion was also held between the top leaders of major parties on Sunday. Although there was an agreement that Prime Minister Dhahal would give an explanation and that UML would be ready to remove the obstruction, it was broken after reaching the Parliament building.

UML retreated from its decision demanding that Maoist Center should correct its derogatory language.

The Prime Minister is preparing to give an explanation by addressing the parliament.
