HoR meeting adjourned after RPP lawmakers’ protest



KATHMANDU: Lawmakers of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) disrupted today’s meeting of the House of Representatives.

RPP MPs demanded that they be allowed to speak during special hour.

Speaker Devraj Ghimire said that he would not allow lawmakers to speak except for zero hour today.

Since RPP lawmakers did not get time to speak, they gheraoed the well.

Speaker Ghimire adjourned the meeting of the House of Representatives for 15 minutes.
