PM Dahal, Deuba and Oli hold talks at Baluwatar

Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba, and CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli held talks on various issues on Tuesday. During the meeting held at the Prime Minister’s official residence, Baluwatar, the three top leaders discussed current issues, particularly the issue of fake Bhutanese refugees, and the involvement of top political leaders in the scam.

Police raid UML Secretary Rayamajhi’s house

Police on Tuesday raided the house of CPN-UML Secretary and Former Minister Top Bahadur Rayamajhi. Police teams from Kathmandu and Lalitpur raided Rayamajhi’s house at Satodobato. Rayamajhi has also been dragged into police investigation in the case of fake Bhutanese refugees. An arrest warrant has been issued against him. He is currently absconding.

Police nab two more in fake Bhutanese refugee case

Nepal Police have arrested two more people on the charge of being involved in the case of cheating Nepali people by making them fake Bhutanese refugees and taking them to America. According to Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation sources, Ramsharan KC of Tokha, Kathmandu, and Gobinda Chaudhary of Morang have been arrested.

Grade 12 exams begins today

KATHMANDU: The annual examination of Grade 12 began today. According to the Controller of Examinations, Krishna Sharma, the examination is being conducted in 1,453 examination centers. As many as 467,000 students have filled the form for the examination.
