KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) declined by double digits on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.
The stock market decreased by 28.31 points and came to 1838.48 points. This is a decline of 1.52 percent.
However, the turnover on Sunday exceeded Rs 1 billion. The day witnessed the trade of 3,843,713 shares in 29,239 transactions of 268 securities.
The transaction amount amounted to 1.15 billion rupees.
All the sub-indices looked bearish on today. The Hydropower investors lost the most (2.35 percent).
On Sunday, the price of Kalinchok Darshan Limited rose the most by 9.97 percent to Rs 342.90. The price of Sanima Growth Fund increased by Rs 6.46.
Machhapuchhre debentures fell the most by 7.75 percent. The value of securities including Kumari Dhanvridhi Yojana, Maya Khola Hydro also decreased alarmingly.
