Helicopter crash at Dhaulagiri base camp, no human casualties



KATHMANDU: A helicopter has crashed at the Dhaulagiri base camp. Heli Everest helicopter number 9N-ANB (AS-350) crashed during landing near the base camp.

According to sources, the helicopter crashed when the pilot tried to make a forced landing after experiencing a problem while landing near the base camp.

There has been no information about any human casualties. Pilot Priya Adhikari was the only person in the helicopter and she is said to be in normal condition. It is said that the pilot was immediately rescued by another helicopter and brought to Kathmandu.

The helicopter reached the Dhaulagiri base camp with cargo.
