KATHMANDU: CPN-UML central secretariat meeting, held at the party central office Chyasal, Lalitpur on Thursday, has defined the responsibilities of the leaders.
According to UML Deputy General Secretary Pradeep Gyawali, the meeting picked Rajendra Gautam as the in charge of Province 1. After Devraj Ghimire was elected as Speaker of the House of Representatives, Gautam was given the responsibility of Province 1.
Similarly, Standing Committee member Vinda Pandey has been given the responsibility as the head of Finance and Planning Commission.
Likewise, Politburo member Parvat Gurung has been selected as in charge of the head of the disability department and Sheela Yadav the in charge of Dhanusha.
Leader Gyawali informed that the meeting decided to retain the ruling alliance at any cost as people are fed-up with political instability.
