BIRATNAGAR: Province 1, Chief Minister Hikmat Karki and three ministers are scheduled to take oath of office and secrecy on Monday.
According to CPN-UML’s chief whip Revati Raman Bhandari, along with Chief Minister Karki, Tilkumar Meyangbo (UML), Bhakti Sitaula (Rastriya Prajatantra Party) and Nirmala Limbu (Janata Samajbadi Party) will be sworn in as ministers.
Division of work of the ministers has not been finalized yet in Province 1.
However, the CPN (Maoist Center), which supported UML parliamentary party leader Karki as the Chief Minister, is unlikely to not participate in the government today.
The Maoist Center has been demanding an agreement to take turns as the Chief Minister.
