Police confiscate two kg of gold at Nagdhunga, three arrested



KATHMANDU: In a successful operation on Friday, the Kathmandu Valley Crime Division seized two kilograms of gold from Nagdhunga, Kathmandu, leading to the arrest of three individuals.

The gold was reportedly being smuggled from the Rasuwagadi border point to Kathmandu.

Acting on a tip-off, a dedicated team of police apprehended the suspects involved in the illegal transportation of the precious metal.

In a parallel incident, two individuals were arrested at Tribhuvan International Airport for attempting to smuggle 14 kg of gold from Dubai, United Arab Emirates on Thursday night.
