Maoist Center to boycott Madhes assembly today



JANAKPURDHAM: The CPN-Maoist Center has decided to boycott the province assembly on Thursday.

The Maoist Center has decided to boycott the province assembly meeting called to discuss the Madhes government’s policy and program for the next financial year 2080/081.

“The government did not discuss with the coalition partners and us while forming the policies and programs for the coming financial year. The policies and programs introduced government are against the spirit of the commitment paper signed by the party while forming an alliance,” he said, adding, “We are going to boycott the discussion scheduled for today.”

The province assembly is scheduled to discuss the government’s policy and program today onwards.
