Tulsipur with beggar-free road



TULSIPUR: Beggars are not visible on roads in Tulsipur these days. Even if the beggars enter here, they are instantly rescued and taken to ashram (shelter home).

DSP at Area Police Office, Tulsipur, Pushpa Raj Malla shared the roads in Tulsipur were freed from beggars.

The roads here remained beggar free when the homeless people were being rescued and sheltered at a human service home in Tulsipur.

According to Ashram Section Chief, Hiru Joshi, those found helpless on the roads were being rescued, treated and rehabilitated at their home.

As many as 20 helpless persons have been so far rescued, treated and rehabilitated, Joshi added.

“We bring such helpless people from the road and provide them with food and shelter at ashram”, he said, adding, “We will hand them over to the families after they get health recovery. So far 20-22 people have been rescued and rehabilitated”.

The Ashram has 22 sections in 16 districts.
