KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today (Monday). According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been set at Rs 152.39, while the selling rate is Rs 152.99.
The buying rate for one European euro has been fixed at Rs 176.28 and the selling rate at Rs 176.97. Similarly, the buying rate for one UK pound sterling is Rs 206.23 and the selling rate is Rs 207.04, while the buying rate for one Swiss franc is Rs 187.41 and the selling rate is Rs 188.14.
The buying rate for one Australian dollar has been set at Rs 107.95 and the selling rate at Rs 108.38. The buying rate for one Canadian dollar is Rs 109.83 and the selling rate is Rs 110.26. Likewise, the buying rate for one Singapore dollar is Rs 119.12 and the selling rate is Rs 119.59.
The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen has been fixed at Rs 9.57 and the selling rate at Rs 9.60. The buying rate for one Chinese yuan is Rs 22.60 and the selling rate is Rs 22.69. Similarly, the buying rate for one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 40.59 and the selling rate is Rs 40.75, while the buying rate for one Qatari riyal is Rs 41.82 and the selling rate is Rs 41.98.
According to the central bank, the buying rate for one Thai baht is Rs 4.60 and the selling rate is Rs 4.62. The buying rate for one UAE dirham is Rs 41.49 and the selling rate is Rs 41.65. The buying rate for one Malaysian ringgit is Rs 37.30 and the selling rate is Rs 37.44. Similarly, the buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 10.76 and the selling rate is Rs 10.80.
The buying rate for one Swedish krona is Rs 15.99 and the selling rate is Rs 16.06, while the buying rate for one Danish krone is Rs 23.59 and the selling rate is Rs 23.68.
The central bank has set the buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 19.42 and the selling rate at Rs 19.50. The buying rate for one Kuwaiti dinar is Rs 495.98 and the selling rate is Rs 497.93. Similarly, the buying rate for one Bahraini dinar is Rs 404.21 and the selling rate is Rs 405.80, while the buying rate for one Omani rial is Rs 395.80 and the selling rate is Rs 397.36.
The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, with the selling rate also set at Rs 160.
Nepal Rastra Bank said the exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It added that exchange rates offered by commercial banks may differ, and the latest rates will be available on the central bank’s website.
