Prime Minister Dahal, Deuba and Oli meet at Singha Durbar

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister and CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, and CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli held a meeting at Singha Durbar, Kathmandu on Saturday evening.

According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat sources, the top leaders of the key political parties in the parliament met at Speaker Devraj Ghimire’s office at the latter’s initiation.

There had been a cold relationship between the top leaders after Prime Minister Dahal deserted the alliance with UML and joined ties with Nepali Congress during and after the Presidential elections.

During the discussion, the leaders of the three main parties gave suggestions to Speaker Ghimire on behalf of their respective parties.

Only a few days ago, UML chairman Oli had been skeptical about the intention of the government and had suspected that the current ruling coalition might impeach Speaker Ghimire.
