Facebook page of Prime Minister’s office resumes after two years



KATHMANDU:  The official Facebook page of the Office of Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers has resumed after two years.

An IT team from the Personal Secretariat of the Prime Minister took an initiative to resume the verified page as part of its plan to operate all sorts of social sites in a bid to provide information to the people about government’s activities and manage information mechanism of the government in an integrated way, said the Prime Minister’s press expert Manahari Timilsina.

A draft of the directives for all government offices to use all types of social sites including Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and Instagram for providing information about their activities, it has been said.
