NOC reduces prices of petroleum products



KATHMANDU: The government has reduced the price of petroleum products.

The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) reduced the prices of petrol, diesel, kerosene, and jet fuel with effect from 12 midnight on Sunday.

The Corporation has reduced the price of petrol, diesel and kerosene by Rs.3 per liter and aviation fuel (domestic) by Rs.20.

According to the statement issued by the Corporation, with the new price, now a liter of petrol will cost 175 rupees, and diesel and kerosene will cost 172 rupees per liter in Kathmandu Valley.

Earlier, the price of petrol was 178 per liter and that of diesel and kerosene was 175 rupees.

Similarly, according to the new price, the price of aviation fuel (domestic) has become 170 rupees per liter.

The price of LP gas has remained the same, which is Rs. 1,800.
