SDG central steering committee meeting underway

KATHMANDU: The meeting of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) central steering committee is ongoing at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar today.

The meeting chaired by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ is reviewing Nepal’s efforts to attain SDGs, status of its implementation and challenges as well as future action-plan among others, according to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.

Present in the meeting are office-bearers of the National Planning Commission, the Minister for Finance, Chief Ministers of all seven provinces, the Chief-Secretary and chairpersons of the District Coordination Committee.

Also in attendance in the meeting are chairperson of the association of municipality and rural municipality, informed the Secretariat.
