WALING: A blood transfusion center has been established in Waling of Syangja district.
The blood transfusion center is established at Grahau Basic Hospital with the purpose of ensuring blood supply to the needy and safeguarding their lives.
With the beginning of the blood transfusion center in Waling, treatment for the dialysis center, maternity service and emergency health care services is expected to be easy and accessible.
The locals from Waling, Bhirkot, Chapakot, Galayang and Kaligandaki in Syangja and the people from the southern belt in Parbat are expected to benefit from the blood transfusion center.
Mayor of Waling Municipality Krishna Khand stated that the center was brought into operation with the coordination of Nepal Red Cross Society Syangja chapter.
Nepal Red Cross Society would manage the blood transfusion center while municipality and hospital administration would carry out other tasks, President of Nepal Red Cross Society Syangja chapter Dinesh Aryal said.
