Nepal sees 76 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours, active cases 137



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 76 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Saturday.

Out of the confirmed cases one was detected through the RT-PCR method and 75 through Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 1,603 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of the tested  cases 55 were tested through RT-PCR method and 1548 were tested through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 137 active cases in the country as 26 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country has been 12,031 to date.
