Gold price up by Rs 500 per tola

KATHMANDU: The price of gold increased by Rs 500 per tola (11.66 grams) in the domestic market today compared to the previous rate.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold is fixed at Rs 104,600 per tola and standard gold is traded at Rs 104,100 per tola.

On Sunday, the fine gold was traded at Rs 104,100 per tola and the standard gold’s price was Rs 103,600.

Similarly, the price of silver today has remained unchanged. It is being traded at Rs 1,320 per tola.

The Federation fixes the prices of gold and silver in the domestic market on a daily basis based on the price rates in the international market.
