Nepal sees three new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours, active cases 14



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of three new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Monday.

Out of the confirmed cases, two were detected through the RT-PCR method and one through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 672 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of them, 84 were tested through RT-PCR method and 588 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 14 active cases in the country as five infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country has been 12,031 to date.
