Cyber Bureau alerts Nepalis abroad to use authorized channel for remitting



KATHMANDU: The Cyber Bureau of Nepal Police has urged Nepali citizens working abroad to use authorized channels for remitting money to Nepal.

This advisory comes in the wake of a surge in cybercrime cases in the country.

In a statement released on Monday, the Bureau highlighted the rising instances of cyber fraud perpetrated through social media platforms.

Emphasizing the prevalence of scams involving false assurances, the bureau urges vigilance to prevent falling victim to fraudulent schemes.
