JANAKPURDHAM: Police arrested 23 people from an illegally-operated call center in Janakpurdham.
According to the District Police Office Dhanusha, police arrested 14 men and 9 women involved in running a call center on the second floor of Bir Bahadur Raut’s house near Pidari Chowk.
The main operator of the call center is absconding, police said.
Police also confiscated 30 computers connected to the Internet to operate the call center.
Two motorcycles have also been seized.
