Govt to give Rs 6 lakhs to ACC Men’s Premier Cup cricket winners



KATHMANDU: The government has decided to give 6 lakhs to the ACC Premier Cup-winning cricket players.

Announcing the decisions of the cabinet meeting, Minister of Communication and Information Technology Rekha Sharma said that the government will give Rs 6 lakh to the winning players and head coaches and Rs 3 lakhs to other officials of the national team clinching ACC Men’s Premier Cup tournament.

In the last match held in Kirtipur on Tuesday, Nepal won the title by beating UAE by 7 wickets.

Similarly, the government has decided to allocate the required amount in the next financial year’s budget to upgrade the TU Cricket Ground to international standards.
