Nepal sees 76 coronavirus cases in 24 hours, active cases 227



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded 76 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Monday.

Out of the confirmed cases, 49 were tested through the RT-PCR method and  27 through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 1,151 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of them, 345 swabs were tested through the RT-PCR method and 806 through the Antigen method.

There are 227 active cases in Nepal as 16 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,020 to date.
