KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court has ordered the submission of the details of the previous verdicts on the case against minor-rape-accused cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane.

The single bench of Justice Hari Phuyal on Friday ordered to release all the documents including the district and appellate court verdicts ( from the registration of the  case to Patan High Court’s order to release Lamichhane on bail) on rape accused Lamichhane’s case.

The Office of the Attorney General had lodged a petition at the SC demanding to revoke an order of the Patan High Court, which had ordered to release Lamichhane on bail.

The Office of the Attorney General has demanded that cricketer Lamichhane be kept in custody for further investigations in the case.

In the meantime, the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has already included the rape-accused cricket in the national team, and Lamichhane has joined the training sessions organized by CAN.
