Parliament session ending today



KATHMANDU: The ongoing session of the Federal Parliament is set to conclude today, Law Minister Dhanraj Gurung said.

The decision to end the session was reached during a meeting held on Wednesday, attended by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, and CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli.

In the day’s parliamentary proceedings, scheduled for 11 a.m., leaders of all political parties are expected to address the House of Representatives.

Likewise, lawmakers will have the opportunity to speak during the zero hour, and reports from several commissions will be presented.
