RAMECHHAP: One person has died and seven others were injured in a road accident that took place involving a jeep (Ba.16 Cha. 3825) at Belpokhari Danda in Rakathum of Khandadevi Rural Municipality-1.
Karma Singh Tamang,33, of ward no 7 of the same rural municipality died on the spot in the accident that took place last night, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Hom Bahadur Parajuli.
The jeep reportedly fell down about 400 meters off the road. The injured are undergoing treatment at Dhulikhel Hospital.
Two of the injured are reported to be in serious condition.
The jeep was carrying passengers to Kathmandu from Dimipokhari of Sunapati Rural Municipality.
