Dengue, coronavirus infection recurs in Kavre



KAVRE: Infections of dengue and coronavirus have recurred here after months.

Seven persons got coronavirus after three months.

Similarly, dengue fever emerged again after five months. District Health Office informed that dengue infection was confirmed in a 51-year-old woman from Panchkhal-3.

She has been receiving treatment at home under the observation of health workers.

Chief of District Health Office, Purushottam Sedhai said the health workers were kept in high alert in order to make the public aware.

Dengue fever is recorded at Panchkhal after three years.

The dengue patient suffers from high fever, severe headache, joint pain, rashes, nausea, stomach ache, bleeding gum, according to Sedhai.

While conducting test among 18 persons for Covid-19, seven persons tested positive in the district.

The coronavirus was detected from Banepa Municipality-3, Panauti Municipality-2 and Namobuddha Municipality-2.
