Asian Games cricket: Nepal beat Maldives by 138 runs



KATHMANDU: Nepal has reached the quarter-finals of men’s cricket under the ongoing 19th Asian Games in China.

In the second match of the group, Nepal defeated Maldives by 138 runs on Sunday.

Chasing a target of 213 runs, Maldives were reduced to 74 runs.

Nepal’s Avinash Bohara took 6 wickets to defeat Maldives.

Sompal Kami, Gulsan Jha, Sandeep Lamichhane and Kushal Bhurtel took one wicket each.
