Nepal sees 19 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours, active cases 283

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 19 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Sunday.

All the confirmed cases were detected through the RT-PCR method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 375 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

All 375 samples were tested through RT-PCR method.

Currently, there are 283 active cases in the country as 64 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country has been 12,030 to date.
