Lawmaker Singh urges govt to heed the increasing instances of self-immolation

KATHAMANDU: House of Representatives member Amresh Kumar Singh has drawn the attention of the government towards the increasing instances of self-immolation.

Speaking at the zero hour in the HoR on Wednesday, lawmaker Singh said that the government is also to blame for the incident of self-immolation.

He blamed the government for its slow response to the incidents of self-immolation.

“The incidents of suicide seem to have increased of late, let a high-level judicial commission be formed to investigate on the causes of increasing instances of self-immolation,” Singh said.
