KATHMANDU: Papua New Guinea (PNG) has won the toss and elected to field against Nepal in the third match of the tri-nation twenty20 international series underway at TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

Nepal intends to reach the final ahead of one match by defeating PNG today.

In the first match of the series, Nepal had defeated PNG by 15 runs, keeping its zeal alive to maintain its consecutive win even today.

Similarly, it had defeated Malaysia by six wickets on Wednesday to climb atop the points table with four points from two consecutive wins.

On the other hand, PNG is at the bottom with no points so far. Similarly, Malaysia is in the second position with two points from one win from two matches.
