Nepal sees 63 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 63 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Friday.

Of the confirmed cases, 30 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 33 through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 2,535 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Of them, 941 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 1,594 through the Antigen method.

Currently, there are 1,004 active cases in the country as 103 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,018 to date.
