KATHMANDU: Newly-elected Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) Balendra Shah has decided to live telecast the meeting of the Municipal Council.
Sah, who took office after taking the oath of office, has made the decision as per his commitment.
The first meeting of the Municipal Council has been called on Monday at 4 pm.
He said that he would live telecast the meeting.
Stating that waste management was his priority, he said, “They are the victims of the sins created by Kathmanduites. Due to our garbage, the people of Sisdol are suffering from cancer and skin diseases.”
