SC not adamant on restricting Nijgadh International Airport

The Supreme Court has left the way open for the continuation of the construction of an international airport in Nijgadh, Bara.

Announcing the final written decision on Nijgadh International Airport, the Supreme Court on Wednesday revealed that it did not prohibit the construction of Nijgadh International Airport.

Govt gives permission to reduce amount of gold used in medals

The government has decided to give permission to make changes in the design of medals presented to various individuals by reducing amount of gold used in such decorations.

Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, said the cabinet decided to approve Performance Contract Guidelines, 2079.

Cholera detected in 14 people in Kathmandu

Cholera has been reported in 14 people in Kathmandu Valley.

Fourteen people have been diagnosed with cholera and returned home after treatment, said Director of Epidemiology and Disease Control Division Dr Chuman Lal Das.
