Nepal sees 202 new coronavirus cases, one death in past 24 hours



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 202 new cases of coronavirus and one death in the past 24 hours as of Sunday.

Of the confirmed cases, 164 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 38 through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 3,833 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Of them, 2,064 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 1,769 through the Antigen method.

Currently, there are 3,313 active cases in the country as 462 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

One coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and with this, the COVID-19 death toll in the country climbed to 12,000 to date.
