Home Ministry alerts of employment through visit VISA

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Home Affairs has appealed to all the citizens not to be lured by proposals of employment through the visit VISA.

The Ministry made the appeal referring to complaints of people being left stranded after going abroad on a visit VISA but not being able to get a job and having to return back.

Such incidents have increased of late. The government will have no legal ground to provide insurance, compensation and relief in the event such stranded citizens are to be rescued and brought back home, the ministry has cautioned.

The Ministry has stressed that the visit VISA should be used only to travel as a tourist or visitor.
